The days of trucks being designed specifically for work and off-road use are virtually gone, as the truck market has shifted toward comfort and family-friendly vehicles fit for everyday driving.

As a full-four door with a CrewMax cab, the 2026 Toyota Tundra is a space machine that delivers storage and utility to consumers. Its ability to move things and people tops the list of reasons you would want to own this vehicle, followed by household chore utility, weekend travel and camper towing.

Our 2026 Toyota Tundra SR5 4×4 test vehicle, painted in Celestial Silver, was powered by the i-FORCE Twin-Turbo V-6 engine, producing 389 horsepower and 479 pouind-feet of torque, with a 10-speed automatic transmission with sequential shift.

Our tester included upgrades such as the TRD-Rally package, which flexed 18-inch TRD wheels with all-terrain tires, tri-color decals and Bilstein off-road shocks.

The interior, although an array of plastic, was spacious and comfortable, focusing on utility. The infotainment, in typical Toyota fashion, was nicely positioned and easy to use, with a large font for easy reading. A nine-speaker audio system with wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and SiriusXM came standard.

Toyota is known for delivering real value to consumers. With a $51K base price, the Tundra lives up to that reputation. From towing a camper or trailer up to 12,000 pounds to moving the kids out of a college dorm, or even taking the dogs on a hiking and biking trip, the Tundra has no problem solving your list of chores and then going to work every day.
