KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas City Chiefs are reportedly losing a key member of their front office to the Tennessee Titans.
Per multiple reports Friday afternoon, the NFL franchise in Nashville has tapped Chiefs assistant general manager Mike Borgonzi as its next general manager.
Borgonzi was hired by the Chiefs in 2009 and had since filled a variety of roles in Kansas City. He won three Super Bowls with the organization.
He succeeds Ran Carthon, whom the Titans fired after going 9-25 overall across the past two seasons.
The Titans hold the No. 1 overall pick in this year’s NFL draft.
