ANAHEIM, Calif. — For those not going to the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, kicking off April 10-12 at the Empire Polo Club, the next best thing may be to watch from home, Couchella-style.

Music fans who didn’t snag a ticket for the sold-out three-day event with Sabrina Carpenter, Justin Bieber and Karol G at the helm can tune in on the festival’s YouTube channel and the Coachella Livestream app. For the first time in Coachella’s livestream history, YouTube will livestream the Coachella Stage, Outdoor Theatre, and Sahara tent in 4K, with a Multiview experience returning to let viewers stream up to four stages at once on their TVs.

Both the app and the channel will also include performances from the Mojave tent, Gobi tent and Quasar stage. Performances at the Sonora tent will be featured during weekend one and at the Yuma tent during weekend two. The Do Lab will not be streaming any of its EDM performers, remaining an in-person festival exclusive, except for a bonus set on Friday, April 10, which will stream on the Outdoor Theatre at the end of the night.

Fans who download the Coachella Livestream app from Google Play or the Apple App Store can create their own viewing schedules by selecting individual performances to add to their profiles. Streaming for all stages for weekend one will begin at 4 p.m. on Friday, April 10, and continue through Sunday, April 12. The weekend two streaming schedule is expected to be announced sometime next week.

The stream will repeat after the headlining set until the new stream returns the next day, then play continuously throughout the weekend.
