NEW YORK — BTS is officially heading back on the road as the K-pop sensation unveils its world tour dates through early next year, including multiple dates in the tri-state area.

The boy band — comprised of RM, Jin, Suga, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook — will kick off their highly anticipated 79-show tour on April 9 in the South Korean city of Goyang, followed by Tokyo.

The tour will briefly jump to Florida and Texas in late April, followed by three dates in Mexico City, before returning stateside. After stops back in their native Korea, and shows across Europe, BTS will play East Rutherford, New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium on Aug. 1 and 2.

The Grammy-nominated group — whose last tour ended in 2022 — will play more North American dates until early September, when they will have a roughly monthlong break before heading to South America for October, followed by a late November return to Asia, where they will play through the end of the year.

BTS will kick off their 2027 leg in February, when they will play a handful of shows in Australia, before playing Hong Kong and Manila in early to mid-March.

The end of the tour dates promises there are “more to come.”

The group — whose name stands for Bangtan Sonyeondan, or “Beyond the Scene” — has been on hiatus while each member completed his compulsory military service. During that time they each released solo music. Suga was the last member to conclude his service, a milestone he hit in late June 2025.

BTS announced shortly thereafter that they would “be releasing a new BTS album in the spring of next year” along with a world tour.

“We’ll be visiting fans from all around the world, so we hope you’re as excited as we are,” they said in a Weverse livestream at the time.
