Aaron Phypers arrested

Aaron Phypers has been arrested for "spousal abuse," according to Denise Richards' lawyer.
The 53-year-old businessman was taken into custody by Los Angeles County Sheriff Deputies at a courthouse in the city on Friday (10.17.25) after testifying in a hearing relating to his estranged wife's temporary restraining order against him.
Denise's lawyer told Us Weekly he had been charged with "spousal abuse".
An eyewitness told the publication: "He's been arrested outside the court and taken down a nearby escalator. [He] did not come back into [the] hallway. Denise is here. She's calm and talking to her team.
"[Aaron] didn't seem to understand that he was about to get arrested."
Phypers' attorney did not acknowledge the arrest when proceedings resumed and the hearing and TRO have been extended to November 7.
Michael Finley, Phypers' lawyer later told TMZ that his client was taken into custody over an "outstanding warrant" that has a possible connection to the abuse allegations.
While on the stand, Aaron described all previous testimony that backed the former Real Housewives' star's version of events as "made up".
According to People magazine, he said: "I never physically harmed Denise Richards… I never threatened to harm her… I did not threaten to kill anybody...
"A lot of people like to be close to the stars. They'll do things for them."
Asked specifically about Denise's allegations he had grabbed her hair, choked her and banged her head, he replied: "No, I did not."
Aaron was asked if he had referred to the Wild Things actress as "a **** whore and a piece of s***" on 4 July, the day he listed as their date of separation when he filed for divorce, but insisted he "never called her that" and denied having grabbed her arm or screamed at her when she ordered his family to move out of their house.
He added: "I've never called her a b****… I've called her a liar, yes. But not a b****, no."
In her testimony earlier in the week, Denise, 54, alleged Aaron had caused her multiple concussions, but he denied the claim.
And while on the stand, the former actor accused his estranged wife of having called him 17 times in less than a week after being granted a temporary restraining order, but he insisted he didn't answer any of them.
He said: "She has many phone numbers… some of them she had before and are inactive or she reactivated."
