'Today' co-anchor Dylan Dreyer splits with cameraman husband

NEW YORK — “Today” show co-anchor Dylan Dreyer confirmed Friday that she separated “a few months ago” from her husband of more than a decade, fellow NBC staffer Brian Fichera.
The Jersey-born meteorologist, 43, announced on Instagram that she and the 38-year-old freelance producer and cameraman had split but remain close.
“For many years I have shared my family with you all — the highs and lows, the ups and downs, and all of the blessings and beautiful memories in between,” said Dreyer. “I am incredibly grateful for the support and love you’ve given me through it all. For that reason, I want to share with you that a few months ago, Brian and I made the decision to separate. We began as friends, and we will remain the closest of friends.”
Dreyer added that she and Fichera, who married in October 2012, “will continue to co-parent our three wonderful boys together with nothing but love and respect for one another. Thank you as always for your support.”
Us Weekly reports that prior to going public with their split, Dreyer appeared on recent “Today” show broadcasts without her wedding ring.
Her post comes a day after Dreyer shared a video about her work-life balance wherein she mentioned the three kids — Calvin, 8, Oliver, 5, and Rusty, 3 — she shares with Fichera, but not Fichera himself, though she did recently share a Father’s Day tribute to him.
“Took the kids to the @redsoxgame…in the living room,” she captioned the June 15 family selfie. “But we needed tickets. Happy Father’s Day Bri!!”
Fichera, for his part, has not posted since January, when he shared a video of two of their kids enjoying a “beach snow day.”
