Authorities tail Rihanna shooting suspect in newly released audio
Published in News & Features
Audio has been released from the arrest of Ivanna Lisette Ortiz, the Florida woman charged with attempted murder after she allegedly fired nearly a dozen shots outside Rihanna’s Beverly Hills mansion this weekend.
Los Angeles Police previously confirmed to the Daily News that Ortiz, 35, was being held on over $10 million bail after she allegedly used an AR-15 style weapon to fire 10 shots at the estate Sunday afternoon before fleeing. No one was injured, though the 38-year-old Grammy winner was reportedly inside at the time, along with the three young children she shares with A$AP Rocky.
Authorities worked to verify the license plate of a white Tesla Model 3, which they linked to a “possible shooting suspect,” identified as a blonde Hispanic female in her 30s, according to the recording, obtained by TMZ.
The outlet previously reported that Ortiz lost custody of her child in 2024, at which point she was also prohibited from making any contact whatsoever.
That followed a reported involuntary hold she was subjected to under Florida’s Baker Act.
Ortiz has also been arrested at some point for domestic violence, according to TMZ.
Rihanna was photographed gearing up to fly out of a local airport Monday, in the wake of the incident.
