Former mayor of New York City and lawyer for President Donald Trump, Rudy Giuliani, was injured in a car accident in New Hampshire Saturday evening, his head of security said in a social media post Sunday.
Giuliani suffered a fractured thoracic vertebrae, as well as cuts, bruising and injuries to his left arm and lower leg after his “vehicle was struck from behind at high speed” while traveling on the highway, according to a post by Giuliani’s security head Michael Ragusa.
Giuliani was taken to a nearby trauma center. Further information about his condition was not immediately available.
Immediately prior to the crash, Giuliani “was flagged down by a woman who was the victim of a domestic violence incident,” the social media post stated.
