Ford Motor Co. has partnered with Amazon.com Inc. to have participating dealers sell used vehicles on the e-commerce giant's platform.

Customers in Los Angeles, Seattle and Dallas looking to buy their next used vehicle online now can browse, finance, purchase and schedule pick-up of Ford Blue Advantage certified pre-owned models available from participating Ford dealers within a 75-mile radius on Amazon Autos. Other markets will be added in the coming months.

Car buyers increasingly are shopping online, and this is another avenue for them to interact with the Dearborn automaker's retailers. Ford follows Hyundai Motor Co., which began in 2024 selling new vehicles on Amazon Autos and since has added used vehicles.

Ford dealers set vehicle pricing and share history information and specifications on the platform. The products have a 14-day, 1,000-mile money back guarantee in addition to the manufacturer-backed limited warranty. Blue-certified vehicles can include brands beyond Ford. Amazon allows consumers to secure financing, start paperwork online and schedule a pick-up time at the dealership.

“Amazon Autos allows Ford Dealers to offer their certified pre-owned vehicles through Amazon’s accessible digital platform, while maintaining the benefits that customers enjoy from their relationships of our Ford Dealers," Wendy Lane, senior manager of Ford Blue Advantage vehicles, said in a statement. "It’s about delivering the best of both worlds to our customers.”
